October 2021 | Bartlesville Mini Session Photographer

Our fall 2021 mini sessions were a little unique this time around, given the fact I was 9 months pregnant while shooting them! We exclusively opened up a few spots for some of our church families, and then ended up adding one more with a past MFP senior who wanted to snag a few with her new husband and puppy! While it was unseasonably hot for fall sessions, it ended up being a perfect evening, and one of the easiest rounds of mini sessions I’ve ever had, despite being in a more uncomfortable, very pregnant, physical state 🙂

First up are the Martins – one of our Hope families! I have been so excited to get Bibi, Shane, and the kids in front of my camera! I know how much Bibi loves photos, cherishes her family, and how eager she was to have updated family photos. Their family is one of the most loving and caring families, and I have been so blessed getting to hear Bibi’s stories through our CBS bible study small group and at Hope women’s events. Their daughter, Sophia, is just darling. Ever since we announced our pregnancy, she seeks me out for a hug at church EVERY week! Their kiddos were the perfect age for a photo session and we loved getting to spend some time with them!

You may recognize this next family – Chris, Katrina, and Eva Eash were one of my 2020 fall mini families! (Looking back at that post – I can’t believe how much Eva has grown!) When we photographed them last year, Katrina mentioned that a Bartlesville mini session is something they would want to do every year and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to hear of her interest again in 2021. We always enjoy our time with these three because they have such an easy and laid back nature. The week of our petite session date, they added a new PUPPY to the mix, and we were thrilled to have her join us for the photos!

And finally, the NEWLYWEDS!!! While Presley is no stranger, this was the first time I got to meet Grant. These two were married back in May of 2021, and added their little guy Tripp to the family in August. He was absolutely PERFECT! Have you seen a fluffier dog? We were super impressed with how well-behaved he was for photos, and of course this sweet and photogenic couple made for an easy session to wrap up our evening! Thank you Duvalls for making the trip from Tulsa for your petite session!! I hope it’s the first of many 🙂
