I LOVE the Sweeneys! I LOVE maternity photoshoots! I LOVE shooting on farm land!

All the pieces of the puzzle were here for this shoot – a darling couple I adore, a beautiful summer evening, and LAND! Any opportunity I have to shoot on land or in the country is a dream come-true. There is so much freedom with an empty canvas, and the overall “vibe” of the country is right up my ally. We shot on Trevor’s parents land in El Reno, which is where I took Taylor and Trevor’s engagement photos five years ago! What made it even better was that all the calves and mommas were out as we drove around in between locations and I just oohed and ahhed over their precious faces! So much fun!

Taylor is such an encourager. She showed up to the shoot with a gift for me!?! To celebrate my engagement! Seriously so thoughtful! They wanted to hear all about wedding planning and were so kind to be so interested in our season of life. I loved hearing about their preparation for their baby girl, talking about parenting styles, and getting to capture their joy as they eagerly anticipate her arrival! Just a few days after our shoot, these two had a drive-by baby shower thrown by friends and I loved getting to see them celebrated via Instagram!

Some of my favorites shown below are the ones we snapped right at the end! We drove back up to the house, let Finn and Mellie out, and got the whole family picture! The dogs were ANGELS! And those photos are just so classic and beautiful with that perfect golden hour light!

It is a treasure to photograph the anticipation and excitement surrounding new life, and I am honored to be the one to help capture these precious moments! Taylor & Trevor – y’all are going to be the best parents!
