OU Snow Photos and an Update | February 2020
Every single snow day we have, I tell myself, “you are not going to go out in that – just enjoy the day off and don’t put pressure on yourself to go shoot.” And you know what happens every single snow day? I go out and shoot. I can’t help it! Haha. When snow is as rare as it is in Oklahoma and at OU (the last one I photographed was in 2017!), it’s too pretty and too fun to pass up! Of course I end up spending the rest of the day working after I shoot, but today I’m hoping to close my computer and get a little bit further into Killers of the Flower Moon. I’m determined to finish it before the start of March! Anyone else reading it?
If you follow @uofoklahoma on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, then you may recognize a few of these images from this morning! In December, I left OU Admissions & Recruitment after three wonderful years helping communicate to prospective students and parents through photography, video productions, and social media management. My new role is in the Marketing & Communications office and I’m specifically focused on content marketing and social media management. I’m loving it! So now you can be on the lookout after following our accounts for some of my photography mixed in!
I personally love photographing OU in the summer months, but I don’t think anyone would argue that OU snow photos are up there as some of the best too! Such a fun and different look at campus! Enjoy a few of my favorites from today below!
