Share the Arrows with Allie Beth Stuckey – 2025 Recap

Personal

Eight years ago, I came across a video from “The Conservative Millennial.” A Facebook friend shared this funny, articulate young woman who was very boldly saying exactly what I was thinking about the world around me — and I was hooked.

At the time, I was looking to voices like Megyn Kelly and Fox News to help me make sense of things through a conservative lens, but none of them connected the dots to where my convictions truly came from — my Christian faith.

Enter Allie Beth Stuckey.

It was 2017. I was in the early years of my career at the University of Oklahoma, surrounded by conflicting opinions and unsure of how to stand firm or articulate how my faith and politics were intertwined. After discovering that Allie and I had a few mutual friends — including the one who shared her video — I boldly reached out on Instagram and offered to take her first set of headshots. A few weeks later, we were sitting in a car waiting out a rainstorm before taking the photos that became the very first cover images for her podcast, Relatable.

The next year, we celebrated the start of her family with a pregnancy announcement session, and I’ve had the honor of photographing her almost every year since. Her professional platform has grown immensely, and she has blessed thousands (if not millions) of young Christian conservative women (including myself) seeking to understand the world and culture through the lens of God’s Word.

After her first Share the Arrows conference in 2024, I noticed a gap in the images that were shared — a gap that just happened to align with my heart for legacy. I began dreaming, praying, and eventually pitching an idea: serving as her personal behind-the-scenes photographer for Share the Arrows 2025. I hit send on that email and held my breath.

A few months and MANY prayers later, and I was standing in a room full of incredible people at the VIP night with the privilege of capturing the weekend for her and her family.

Y’all. That Friday night blew me away. It was beautiful, intimate, and personal — a wedding-reception-level transformation of the Blaze studios. The event team was a joy to work with, and I loved watching the excitement of guests taking photos in the Relatable studio, chatting with Allie’s mom and Chief Relatabro, and meeting new friends.

If you’re considering attending Share the Arrows in the future, the VIP night is an absolute treat you will not want to miss.

The anticipation of Saturday of course kept me up most of the night, and it did not disappoint!

Of course my perception of how the day unfolded is different than most attendees, given that my brain was constantly thinking “where do I need to be” and “how can I get this from a more interesting angle?” and trying to balance being there to capture behind the scenes moments I was there for, while also giving Allie and her team the space they needed amidst a high-pressure event. I didn’t always get it right, but I did walk away from the weekend with a renewed sense of my calling: capturing God’s blessings for families to have as lasting monuments of God’s faithfulness and their legacy.

I couldn’t imagine a more perfect legacy-minded event – it was incredibly powerful to see the Lord’s plan unfold for Share the Arrows through the worship, encouragement from like-minded women, and the boldness in the truth proclaimed.

I’m so thankful for Allie, her voice, and the way the Lord is using her to influence a generation of young women and moms!
