OU 2020 Senior – Lily | Oklahoma Headshots for Graduation
I don’t know how she did it, but Lily managed to make her senior headshots look like a BREEZE. Especially because the wind and cold weather came in full force the day of our session! I know she was worried about how the weather was going to impact her photos, but she handled it like a true professional! Overcast and windy days can be a challenge, but there are always a few tips and tricks I recommend to my girls to help manage with hair, outfits, and posing! It helps to have practice, and I have had a TON of practice over the years with the Oklahoma wind and weather forecasts changing at the drop of a hat 🙂
I could have talked to Lily and her mom for hours. We connected on our faith, theology, and worldview, which are all not only huge topics, but topics I think I could talk about for hours with like-minded friends! What impressed me about Lily was not only that she stood firm in her beliefs, but she has a variety of interests and experiences that have shaped them over the years. She was quite possibly one of the most wonderfully interesting young women I’ve had the chance to photograph. To start, she has lived all over the USA, and even spent some of her childhood in New York City! Her family landed in Tulsa for high school, and that is how she ended up at OU to pursue her degree in Creative Writing. She’s been an intern at E!, Bravo, and has plans to pursue graduate school in this next chapter! She is just all around a cool person!
Lily is career-driven, loves her sweet Teddy (how ADORABLE is he in these photos!?), and is someone who goes all in 100%. Not only that, but she is sophisticated and driven (gotta give that 4.0 a shoutout!) and I loved sharing this time with her! I so hope we have the opportunity to connect again soon because I would love nothing more than the chance to photograph this beauty again, maybe next time with some sunshine and less wind 🙂
So honored to know you, Lily!!
