If there’s one thing I know to be true about myself, it is that I am an open book! I’ve shared about this before (lol, the irony), but it’s a quality that I embrace in not only myself, but in others! I love meeting new people and being able to get a sense of who they are right off the bat..when there is a natural warmth and transparency there. Kristina is one of these people. I caught myself apologizing to her because we were jumping right into deep conversations within 5-10 minutes of starting her session! But that is such a big part of what I enjoy and why I love what I do and I loved getting to hear her story within minutes. It is a treat getting to connect with friends on a level beyond just senior year memories and involvement. Thank you Kristina for being an open book, for sharing your heart, and for your warmth and energy! Especially because of how overcast and chilly the WEATHER was on our shoot! 🙂

Kristina brought her dog, Moose for a handful of photos, and I have to admit that these are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken of a senior with her pup!! He was legitimately perfect – so easy going, calm, and just the cutest!! Let me know if you have a favorite once you see them all! I think I am a sucker for the OU jersey and the graduation cap ones!

I was telling Jonathan after Kristina’s shoot that I love getting to see the beauty of each of my girls in such a unique way when I’m photographing them. It’s one thing to appreciate someone, but it’s another thing to have the chance to photograph the smallest moments in time and capture that beauty in a way that even they may not even see it themselves. I always strive to translate the fullness of I experience with each of my girls! I don’t know if that makes sense, but I truly feel like I get a unique look into who they are and the brightest parts of their soul. I hope that comes across in these gorgeous photos of Kristina!! She was a natural in front of the camera, and she did such a great job at adding her own spin on my senior picture poses!! They were perfect!!
