Lake Cypress Springs | Labor Day 2019 Highlights
Just like that, the summer season is officially over. I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to lake weekends and all the fun memories I’ve made the last few months, but at least there is a full season of Sooner football to get excited for! I’ll be replacing those 4 hour drives to east Texas with 4 hours on the field at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and there is NOTHING to be mad about when I know that is in store!
This weekend was full of all the good things about the lake – water balloon fights, slalom skiing, college football, fishing, babies, boat rides…and of course BBQ. I even got to be the one in front of the camera for a few photos! I love getting to document our time together as a family, but it’s extra special when I get to be in those moments captured too, especially when it’s when I’m doing something that I love like slalom skiing. I’ve been skiing since probably our first summer at Cypress Springs – that was in 2005! We still have my mom’s competition ski from when she was a teenager, so it’s really fun to have photos of me on it too, no matter how horrifying the faces I make are hahaha.
I’ve got two mini sessions tonight to kick off the fall 2019 shooting season, so I’ll be back later this week with some of my favorites from those shoots! Looking forward to all that is in store for my seniors & engaged couples these next few months! Let’s do this!!
The things we do to get the babies to smile! Haha
Cute face, right? These were hilarious.
Cutie little Auburn Tiger!!! Not even mad about this.
It’s not a true Foster lake weekend without Good Things BBQ!
