One of the best parts about sharing my life very personally through my business is the point of connection it allows me to build upon with my seniors. I can’t tell you the number of girls I’ve had the chance to chat with about breakups, on-and-off again relationships, or just dating in general. Sharing my story with them, or having them know that I’ve walked through my fair share of struggle and heartbreak has helped build my purpose in my business beyond just taking pretty photos. The long term relationship thing was something Cohan and I touched on briefly during our time together on campus, and to be honest, I wish we could have chatted a little bit more about it. Time and distractions while shooting got the best of me, but I won’t forget the mid-session change where Cohan and I got to share a little bit of our own stories and experiences! (The good news is, we are both SUPER happy with where life has us right now!!)

Beyond the heavy stuff, Cohan and I bonded over Live PD (currently one of my favorite things), our fascinating with Survivor, being morning people, and our love for blue eyed boys, hah! It was obvious that she had training in front of the camera because her posing and body awareness was way above average. Turns out, she had done quite a bit of acting in high school and her headshot experience showed! From the perfect soft smile to those killer eyes – I had chills editing these! She is STUNNING!

I’m pumped that Cohan will be hanging around the OKC area after she graduates in May – she’s already secured a nursing job at a hospital here in the city! It always makes me happy to know that my girls will be close by…getting to stay in touch and see them around campus on game days or in the city is one of the biggest joys!
