Emily and Ann | Bartlesville Motherhood Photographer

You may have noticed a shift recently on my Instagram…and there is good reason for it! Back in March, Jonathan, Ruthie and I drove to Dallas for me to attend a motherhood and family photography workshop. It was exactly what I needed to give me a refresh and reset for the rest of the year. After becoming a mom last year, it is only natural that my heart and focus has been shifting more and more towards Bartlesville motherhood photography and families, so I have been eager to do more of just that! My best friend Emily had her baby, Ann, at the end of January and I knew they would be the perfect pair for a mid-morning in-home newborn session. While Ann was about 9 weeks at the time, she was the perfect little snuggle bug. We had the best morning wrapping her up, playing dress up, and capturing all the sweet girly details of little lips and bows and baby hairs!

Another new addition/change I’ve made recently is the client wardrobe! This is a small curated collection of dresses available complimentary for mamas to borrow for their full lifestyle sessions. I know dressing the family and figuring out what to wear is one of the most stressful parts of the photography experience, so getting to borrow a few gorgeous dress options for maternity photos, newborn photos, or family photos will hopefully be a blessing and relief. It will be one less thing you’ll have to worry about! Emily is wearing one of the white dresses in the closet in these photos and it couldn’t have been more perfect for her! We took these photos in my home in Bartlesville, which I hope to open up to other families who may be interested in the feel of an in-home family or motherhood session, but maybe don’t want to worry about lighting or cleaning up their house! I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how these turned out. Just everything I wanted them to be – soft and dreamy and so timeless! So special to have been there for Emily’s engagements, maternity photos, and now these gorgeous motherhood photos! I cannot wait to raise our girls side by side!
