Meredith & Josh – Downtown OKC Christmas Proposal at Frontline Church

Oh boy…where do I even begin? My friend Meredith is a word-queen, so nothing I say is going to do this justice haha. Ahhhh! Three of my best friends have gotten engaged this year and it has been a joy to celebrate each of them. Meredith & Josh were the last proposal for 2018 and I wouldn’t want to cap off the season any other way!

These two met in their community group through Frontline Church. I remember hearing about Josh right off the bat – he was in med school, and he and Meredith would meet up at All About Cha pretty much every day for weeks before Josh finally asked Mere out. Fast forward to this weekend and he and I were laughing as we were waiting for his future wife to arrive at Frontline, wondering if his heart rate would be as high or higher for the proposal than it was when he first called to take her on a date! (It was!)

I love when proposals have personal details and touches – the fact that they got engaged in front of their church was incredibly sweet and endearing to me. Josh and I talked about this as we worked through the plan for the night, and I’m so glad it ended up working out the way it did! They’ve been through a lot of life together throughout the past year and their faith has been the root for both of them. The ring was also incredibly special. If you know Meredith, you know that she has the most impeccable taste in everything – from food to style to design and decor (obviously – she’s an interior designer!) and of course jewelry, so I know the ring would be fabulous!

Mere & Josh celebrated over dinner at one of their favorite restaurants before being surprised by both of their families & friends from all over to celebrate! We had the best night and I can’t wait to see these two walk down the aisle sometime next year! Congratulations to the future Glovers!
