OU 2021 Senior | Kristen Nguyen | Fun Senior Photos Ideas
There is SO much I could share about Kristen. We have been in touch since 2017 when she started following me on Instagram. Thinking back on that year and that season – it feels like my business (and life!) were in just a preface or introductory chapter…it was the start of so much change and growth! It is so cool to think that she has been following along and a witness to the journey ever since. After getting to know her a bit on Instagram, and after following her admissions process to OU (when I was still running the Go2OU admissions accounts!), I got to be there to help welcome her to the Sooner Family by way of her admissions box delivery! It’s insane to me that that was three years ago – time has FLOWN by! On top of that, Kristen is the rockstar of all rockstars and is graduating a year EARLY!
If you know Kristen (and chances are, you do!), you know that she is spirited, passionate, eager, and a PEOPLE person! Kristen is a Norman native and a Sooner through and through…I have loved seeing her cheer on our football team through thick and thin. It’s only natural that she brought her custom OU Sooners jersey to our shoot for her second outfit! Those pictures are some of my FAVORITES! We couldn’t stop talking about how she immediately lit up once she had her OU spirit on for the second half – just look at how radiant she is!
Kristen is also an up-and-coming photographer at OU and I’ve loved watching her business grow. She was telling me how nervous she was the day before, which I totally understand – that’s how I felt the day before me and Jonathan’s engagement photos with Katelyn earlier this year. The good news is that not only was she super easy to guide and pose, but she just jumped right in and within 5 minutes it felt like she had been in front of the camera a hundred times before!
I hope my 2021 spring girls are reading these posts because this set of seniors are the perfect bunch to get fun senior photo ideas from! They are sassy, full of life, and naturals in front of the camera. That may be one of the best parts about the transition from shooting millennials to Gen Z – they are SO comfy taking photos because they’ve been in front of iPhones almost their whole lives! It makes my job a BREEZE!
SO excited for all that is in store for Kristen! She’s got a few surprises up her sleeve for her friends and family, and it was so fun to be a part of that joy last week!
