OU 2019 Graduates | Olivia, Ryleigh, & Kate | Oklahoma Senior Photographer
About every 6 months or so, I hold a small series of mini sessions! Many of you have probably seen photographers announce these (usually in the fall right before the holidays!). Minis are basically a marathon photoshoot day with a bunch of 15-30 minute time slots for sessions! It’s a great opportunity for people who have a need for a couple of new images, but may not need a full 1 or 2 hours of shooting. I like to stay around 3-5 mini sessions in one day, each about 20-25 minutes, which is much more manageable for me personally in the midst of a busy season. I love to be able to serve friends who are looking for a few new professional headshots or graduate college seniors – it’s so much fun to give them the experience of being an MFP senior!
Olivia S.
You may recognize one of these faces – this was Olivia‘s THIRD time in front of my camera!! (My goodness, my style has changed so much since 2016!) There isn’t a bigger honor than to be the go-to photographer for someone and I LOVE that I’ve been able to fill that role for this friend. Her smile & spirit are contagious, so photographing her is always a joy. I’ve now helped her celebrate her undergraduate graduation, starting graduate school, and graduating with her Master’s degree! Olivia is a 5th grade teacher in Norman and if you don’t watch her Instagram stories, you’re missing out – she is a riot talking about her kids and posting photos of her dog, Paddington! I was so glad she brought him to the shoot because he is ADORABLE!
Ryleigh N.
One of the best parts about working for OU is getting to know the amazing tour guides we have on our team. Ryleigh has been one of my favorites – she works the Thursday afternoon shift, which means I see her every 3 weeks when I give my tour presentation! The presentation I give is the 30 minute “business side” of things just before students & families head out on a walking campus tour led by a current student like Ryleigh. This girl has so much personality – she exudes confidence and coolness and it has been an absolute treat getting to work with her on various projects in admissions! She served as our go-to tour guide for a huge campus tour video project we’ve been working on this past year and I couldn’t imagine a more polished or well-spoken student to represent OU! Fun fact about Ryleigh – she is originally from Idaho and has had a job lined up since early on her senior year! She is the definition of a rock star!
Kate R.
Kate and I met through my best friend, Claire! They were graduate assistants together at OU when Claire and I were roommates my first year back in Norman. Kate’s been a sweet friend to Claire and I was honored she invited me to snap a few photos for her prior to graduating with her master’s degree! I loved getting to chat with her a bit more about her recent move OKC (believe it or not, she’s actually living with Claire these next few months!), her new job at UCO (she is in a huge role overseeing student organizations!) and how she & her boyfriend met (Bumble for the win!) Kate is easy to be around and it was a delight to have her in front of my camera for the first time (although she did make an appearance in Claire & Sam’s proposal blog post! 🙂 )
