OU 2019 Graduate | Jordynn | Norman, Oklahoma Photographer

This shoot was a long time coming because Jordynn was my FIRST senior to book for spring 2019! We’ve had this one on the books since JULY of last year!! Can you believe that? I have a special place in my heart for Jordynn – one of the best compliments is hearing from seniors that they know they want to book their graduation photos with me, even before they start their school year in the fall! And now it is finally her turn! Another huge compliment – knowing Jordynn follows the blog! Sometimes I feel like I’m just posting into the abyss of the internet world (thanks algorithms!) and to hear that she had done her research and followed my posts was so encouraging to me. I always strive to be the one doing the encouraging on shoots, but I think Jordynn is just a natural cheerleader and I loved her positivity!

Something you may not know about this new friend is that she is graduating with not only her bachelor’s degree, but also her MASTERS! We made sure to stop by Price to snap some photos in front of the college she has spent so much time in these past 5 years, and truthfully, I was SO excited she asked. Price is one of my all-time favorite buildings to shoot in front of when it comes to specific college locations on campus. You can get so much variety in such a small amount of space, and it’s majestic-looking!

Another place we stopped along the way was my favorite ivy wall for confetti photos which turned out to be some of my all-time favorites! I shared about this on my Instagram story on my way home from the shoot – I think these are some of the best I’ve taken thanks to the fancy confetti cannon she brought from Target! Seniors – this one was a WINNER!!! Also if you were out on campus while we were shooting, you probably heard it because it was a lot louder than we expected, but so worth it!
