Modern OKC Engagement Photos – Alyssa & Sam

I could not have asked for a better couple! You guys!!! Before every shoot, I pray over my new friends and our time together. I am always hopeful for quality time & conversation! I also hope that there is comfort & trust established so that we get the best possible photos! In general, the more relaxed you are coming into a shoot, the more we get to know each other and the more trust that is built! That’s why it is a dream to work with couples and seniors who follow me on Instagram and know a bit of my background – they’ve got a head start and the beginning stages of our friendship is already established.

The evening Alyssa, Sam, and I got together was such a bucket-filler! I knew Alyssa and I would be friends as soon as I read her initial email. She told me right off the bat that she and Sam are MASSIVE OU fans. She’s followed along on social media as I’ve shared my favorite game day photos of the guys, the stadium environment, and Baker! I love that we have that in common because it’s something we’re both passionate about and were able to connect on.

These two have been together for about three years and in the short amount of time I was with them, I couldn’t imagine a better fit for each other. It’s always so funny to me to hear about proposal stories – theirs included! Alyssa did NOT want to be surprised, so she knew every time they got together that it could be happening any day! He ended up asking her to marry him at Lake Arcadia which honestly probably couldn’t have been more beautiful – I’m such a lake girl so that little detail had me hooked instantly!

I loved my time with Alyssa & Sam – they couldn’t be more endearing or loveable! Happy wedding planning you two!
