We’re kicking off the 2021 OU graduation picture marathon season today! Meet Gracie! I was honored to be introduced to her for the first time last year when I was still working at OU in Marketing and Communications. It was RIGHT before COVID hit the US. We got together for a pre-production interview because we were hoping to help tell a bit of Gracie’s story through a documentary style video. After hearing a bit about the incredible journey she has been on, it makes these photos that much more special and meaningful. We were bummed we never had the chance to work together after the world shut down, but I was honored to have had the chance to reconnect for her OU senior pictures this spring!

Gracie has spent a good part of her OU career serving – she served on Homecoming, Soonerthon, and in Goddard with OU Health Services! The past couple of months, she has had countless early morning and long days helping to put on vaccination clinics and has had so many rewarding experiences through the process!

Gracie’s sweet family came from Colorado and New York to help celebrate this monumental occasion. It was endearing to see how close she was with each of them, and I loved getting to include her parents, one of her sisters, and her best friend in a handful of photos! What a perfect way to celebrate not only her graduation, but also her love for Oklahoma! I am thrilled to hear that she hopes to stay here post-graduation and pursue a masters in Public Health.

I know this time in her life is special and treasured, and it was a blessing to have the opportunity to help commemorate these moments in her favorite place, with her favorite people!
