Fall Photos at OU – University of Oklahoma Senior – Olivia, Class of 2018

Olivia was my LAST senior of 2018, and we ended the season strong! She was radiant, and the fall colors were timed perfectly with our shoot. I had a hard time picking favorites for this blog post – there are so many great standouts! Shooting at OU, especially in the fall, never gets old. New friends like Olivia make it consistently fulfilling and fun and I am bummed that my campus shoots for the year are done!

As my off-season quickly approaches, I’m starting to consider changes and adjustments I want to make in my business. I always want to be thinking ahead at how I can better serve my clients and provide a more personalized, unique experience through photography. One of the ways I try to do this is by booking shoots in my specialties – the areas that I excel in, that fill my bucket, and that I am excited to give the most of myself to. For me personally, that means selectively booking seniors, proposals, engagements, and select lifestyle shoots. This is something I’ve focused a lot more on this year, and I know there is so much more I can be doing to make sure that the clients I do take are well taken care of & celebrated. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more changes in the future, but for now, I am excited to dig in and evaluate for the upcoming year!

My 2019-2020 senior season has already kicked off with bookings which is BEYOND exciting! One of the ways I want to serve well through my business is by limiting the number of seniors I take, and each year, that number has gotten smaller and smaller. I cap the number I book so that I can focus on and dedicate my time to the few that reserve spots on my calendar early.
