Bartlesville Family Pictures | Grover Family | Lake Session
The Grovers were one of the first families I spent time with in Bartlesville after Jonathan and I were engaged. I was living in Bartlesville off-and-on last spring and summer, and we started participating in Forks and Fellowship through our church, Hope PCA! This is when three or four families are paired together to share meals & fellowship once a month. One month, one family will host, and then we trade off the next month! We were paired with the Grover family last summer and right off the bat, we were beyond impressed with their three girls – how respectful, considerate, and gentle they were. We are STILL impressed, even a year later!
The Grovers booked a Tulsa family mini session, however, rain forced a reschedule for those and we ultimately decided on a different date to shoot here in town for their Bartlesville family pictures! We had an unusually chilly afternoon, but the cloud cover made for more versatile location options. If I am remembering correctly, I think Candis told me they hadn’t had family photos taken since Edie (their youngest) was either a baby, or since before she was born! So thrilled we were able to capture these sweet girls and the relationship they share as sisters. As the youngest of three girls myself, I am a little biased, but I think they are just the cutest!
Jonathan and I have said for the last year that if we have girls, we hope they are just like the Grovers. We adore this family, and are thrilled to glean their wisdom, guidance, and enjoy their fellowship! Thank you Grover family for letting us take your family pictures this year!!
The best part? We got them in front of the camera TWO times this spring! The second was just this past weekend for a generational photoshoot with grandparents and cousins, too! Check out the sneak peek here!
These two!!! What a fabulous couple! How PRECIOUS is this!? Sweetest laughs!! Two of my favorite shots all night!! No better way to end a session than with a big family hug!!!
