Bartlesville Extended Family Photos | Bounds and Grovers | OKWU Photos

This has been one of my favorite years of business thus far and one of the biggest reasons for that has been all of the opportunities the Lord has given us to serve close friends and families that we love. This was our fifth Hope PCA family to photograph in 2021 and we have been SO BLESSED! Any chance we have to get together with our church family is a gift, but it is extra special to be able to use my talents and passions to capture treasured memories and stress-free photography experiences for families we know and adore.

The Bounds reached out earlier this year for a Bartlesville extended family photo session and I was honored to be the one to celebrate with them! KK (Kaye) and GG (Glen) live here in Bartlesville, along with the Grovers (whom you probably recognize from their mini session blog earlier this year!) and Brent and his family were in town from New York. It was the perfect opportunity for updated family photos! Upon chatting with them, I found out this is something they do every couple of years, and something that Kaye treasures is having them printed and displayed in her home. A few months after the session, we got together to scope out where the classic family portrait would hang in their home and design an album together! It was a treat to get to see her enjoy the photos and bring them to life through prints. Our families grow so quickly…it makes my heart so happy to see them celebrate who their kids and grandkids are right now.

It was fun to see the three boys and the three girl cousins all together – they each have a “buddy” in their cousin family that is the same age! Almost like twin families! My sisters and I grew up with our cousins, the Falkensteins, and had a similar setup! I love that they get to grow up together and had so much quality time together while Brent’s family was in town!

We love capturing Bartlesville extended family photos and have a few more of these sessions hitting the blog this fall and winter while I’m on maternity leave! I know as our own family has grown how special it is to have everyone all together, especially as there are more and more little kids running around. We treasure that time and are so thankful to have visual memories of it to look back on for years to come! Learn more about the MFP extended family session experience!
