What a way to kick off the 2019 graduation season! I left my shoot with Kaylee on an endorphin high and it was a feeling I had so missed the past couple months during the off-season! There are a couple of things I want to  mention in this sweet senior’s blog post. First – it was THE BEST getting to be back out on campus celebrating Kaylee as my first MFP Senior of 2019! She booked back in December 2018 and there’s honestly not a whole lot that makes my heart happier than getting my girls on my calendar ahead of the spring semester. It’s honestly one of the biggest compliments and honors to know that they are planning ahead and want to celebrate all of the hard work and excitement with my senior experience! So THANK YOU Kaylee!! I’m grateful that you snagged the first date of 2019 – you are a joy!

Secondly, I was so excited to meet her specifically! Kaylee has overcome a lot the past few months, and when I saw her facebook post a few weeks ago about some of what she has been through, I was fully prepared to get an email from her about rescheduling. Life can get crazy & we never know what will be thrown our way in an instant. She has taken it all in with grace, has not lost her spirit, and was ready to go & get to celebrating on our scheduled date. I was so grateful that she was up for our shoot (and that her mom got to join us for the fun!!)

Perhaps one of my favorite things was that Kaylee was FULLY PREPARED and I couldn’t have been more impressed. She had her makeup done at Spruce (shoutout – you ladies CRUSHED IT), picked the perfect outfits & colors, and literally went out and bought sparkling grape juice & wet wipes within 24 hours of her shoot after seeing my most recent blog post. My heart!!! This girl is the best!

Kaylee is a classic beauty – just check out that gorgeous smile! She also has a heart for giving back. I loved hearing about the time she spent in college on Soonerthon Exec & as a member of Okie Belles, an all-girls service organization. This smarty pants is heading to OUHSC for Physical Therapy and I am so thankful I have her as a new friend!! You’re a dream, Kaylee!

Haha! I had to – minor moment of panic once she had on the cap & gown!  PEEP THE WELCH’S!!!! I was SO proud!!
