You know what is a dream come true? This shoot. Truly – a new friend (AND SHE’S GOING TO BE MY ROOMMATE YOU GUYS!!!!!), open fields, and creative freedom! After a busy senior season, I took about a week and a half off before jumping right in to a few more lifestyle shoots. I had Ashley booked at the end of May, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I had a few days prior to recover, but her encouragement and permission to just have fun with her shoot was FREEING and the perfect fresh start to summer!

I shoot probably 95% of what I post with my 50mm lens. It’s my favorite portrait lens! I brought my 135mm along with me just for fun, and a few of the shots I got with it – she popped right off the background. Let me know if you can which one of these images I used the 135 for!
