Norman High Senior Photos – Gabby, Class of 2019
I’m not really sure how Gabby isn’t a model, but she could 100% make that a thing. When I start off my shoots, I typically give a few posing tips (keep moving, pop a knee, etc.) but she didn’t even need them! She moved all on her own and was a total pro right off the bat. She and her mom were such a pleasure to chat with and Gabby was a breeze to photograph. Her mom was the BEST cheerleader for both of us – I was wishing she could be on every shoot with me! I kept hearing “Oh, this is going to be beautiful” and “I love this location!” – she totally encouraged both me and Gabby throughout our time together.
Gabby is darling, and the boho-free-flowerchild feel of these images was right up my alley. These turned out to be so much of my own personal style that I may have to snag some headshots here in this field for myself! The yellow sunflowers & super tall grass were fun elements to be able to utilize in the composition of her senior photos. I have been pushing myself quite a bit when it comes to composition – really making sure that I’m looking at my frames as I’m shooting and figuring out how I can use what we have in the location to draw attention to my clients. I had a blast getting to do that and challenge myself a bit!
Gabby is interested in attending OU so I automatically was asking her all the things about her application process! I think she’s going to do AWESOME in college and I can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!!
