McKenzie is one of my new favorite seniors! I don’t know if it’s because these turned out so stunning, how perfectly her outfits complimented her and the OU campus, or the fact that she is in a season of life so similar to what Jonathan and I just walked through, or a combination of all those things! I loved my time with her! McKenzie is graduating from OU HSC this spring as a dietitian and I am so excited for her! There have been a lot of life transitions and steps she’s boldly taken to get to this point, and it was so wonderful to hear how things unfolded for her throughout the course of her college career. From UCO to OU Pom, and now her dietetic internship! With so much more to come!

We were joined by McKenzie’s fiance, Peyton, and loved hearing all about their upcoming Tulsa wedding later this year, the new home they’re building, and their long-distance relationship. I can’t wait to see their gorgeous wedding photos and for them to finalize and move in to their house! It was so reminiscent of last year for us because we went through a lot of the same things leading up to our own wedding (minus the graduation!) They’ll be just down the road from us in Owasso, and I so hope we have the opportunity to get together again soon! (Lucky me – I get to meet McKenzie’s sister and her family this week for family photos!)

I wanted to get this post out last Thursday, but last week took it all out of me! We’re in the midst of my annual marathon senior season, and have a handful of family sessions to add to the fun later this week! Thank you McKenzie for your patience with one of my favorite parts of the MFP experience – shining the light on YOU!
