I’ve never witnessed a wedding as intentional as Haley & Steven’s. What better place to celebrate their love story than where it all began? The University of Oklahoma has been a centerpiece in their relationship over the years as they grew from “just friends” to husband and wife. They incorporated classic, yet personal details in every part of the day, including the photos of Haley’s father on her bouquet, their best friend as their officiant, and photos in the Union Courtyard by their newly added alumni bricks. Haley and Steven’s closest friends and family had a part in all of it. Plus, they threw THE BEST PARTY EVER!

I had a couple favorites moments throughout the day – the first was seeing Haley and Kristen (their dear friend and wedding planner) look on as Steven shared an emotional dance with his mom at the beginning of the ceremony. Later in the night, Steven serenaded Haley with all of his groomsman cheering him on in what was quite possibly the best fan-section of all time (don’t miss the reception photos!). Their final dance of the evening was to Sunday Candy by Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment and as if it hadn’t already been confirmed before then, I knew then that these two are the best of the best.

Humbled to have had the opportunity to celebrate such a special day with the Cowan and Lee families. Congratulations you two!
