Avishan – Norman North Senior – Oklahoma Senior Photographer

Avishan gets major props from me – she’s a senior in high school and took the initiative to reach out and get her senior session scheduled! That is not a common thing for a 17 or 18 year old to do!!!

I loved getting to meet Avishan last week for her senior photos. She had mentioned in my senior questionnaire that her dream location would be a sunflower field! I was determined to make that happen for her and we got pretty lucky with our spot! I originally had a field in northwest Norman picked out, but after a ton of rain the day before, I didn’t want to be trudging through the mud for an hour and a half! We opted for a more developed location instead and it worked out perfectly. We got a little bit of open field and grassy areas, a little canola and sunflowers, and some gorgeous trees in our backdrops. This has quickly become one of my favorite places to shoot. I am such a sucker for a country feel!

Avishan is basically a dream – she nailed the soft smiles and posing direction like a pro. I was so impressed at how she trusted me and just went with it! She also told me she knew she wanted me to take her senior pictures this time last year when she saw my Instagram posts with a few other Norman North senior girls – I was immediately a fan!! It is such an honor to have people who support you along the way so THANK YOU Avishan!! You are a gem!!

She had the CUTEST outfits!  AND SHE KILLED THE HAIR FLIPS!!! Love them so much!!

So buggy in this field but so worth it!! Her mom gave us hand sanitizer at the end of the shoot after we got bit by flies! Haha apparently it helps with future itching and I honestly think it worked!
