Allie & Kyle – OKC Engagement Photographer – Coffee Shop & Wheeler Park

I KNOW you remember Allie & Kyle from their proposal! How could you forget these two cuties!? They got engaged a few months ago at Syrup and it was so awesome to be a part of! Their joy is so deeply rooted in their faith that being around them is beyond encouraging & contagious! They are NATURALS Y’ALL!!!!

Since then, I’ve learned quite a bit more about these two!! Like the fact that Kyle has a pet rabbit!?! I actually thought they were kidding when I saw it!! And Allie spent some time serving in China this past summer! I love that I get to know & hang out with my proposal couples more than just for one day! It is the best!!!!

We shot the first part of this session at one of their favorite coffee shops in OKC, Okay Yeah Co.! (If you scroll back through their proposal blog, you’ll spot a little coffee sign on the table in front of them, as well as Mr. & Mrs. coffee mugs Kyle bought them! I love those little details because it makes it so much more personal!) We got super cozy and jumped right in because we only had about 15 minutes to shoot before they closed!

My next spot was supposed to be the Skydance Bridge in downtown OKC, but I ended up going a weird route to get there and passed Wheeler Park. I knew instantly that that we needed to change our plans – the ferris wheel was TOO GOOD to pass up and we were losing light fast! We hopped out, changed, bought our tickets, and were on our way up with the most perfect sunset view of the city! It was giving me major Notebook vibes!!

My favorite part about these images is the intimacy and comfort between Allie & Kyle & the trust they have in me.

They did not hesitate to run into the middle of the street when I asked them to on a whim. And they were totally cool with making out on the ferris wheel while I was taking photos of them…in the same gondola (lol). They set an example in love and in their faith and it is truly the most beautiful thing to witness!!!
